My name is Howard Hu. I work across various disciplines with a variety of clients. Over the past decade, I have worked independently and collaboratively assembling a diverse portfolio of designs. I offer a unique perspective and personal approach to every project. Unlike many designers out there, I understand the importance of both creativity and efficiency in a project.
Having worked in a print shop in the past as a pre-press operator, I'm also familiar with the printing process (i.e. the difference of using process vs. spot colors, as well as creating vector art) in order to prevent spending unnecessary time/money on printing. Aside from graphic design, I also do photography and video editing.
ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Howard Hu. I grew up in Tucson, Arizona. I've always had a passion for art since I was little, so it naturally led me to the current career path for the last 15 years.
I graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Modern Media/Chinese History. I also completed the Associates Program from Pima Community College in Digital Arts/Film Animation.
I believe in the power of working together with others to create a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. I also understand that while we always try to seek out for perfection, efficiency and productivity also matters just as much. I have worked with businesses from around the world, and I enjoy every minute of it!
Aside from working as a graphic designer, I'm also a photographer and a certified international Taekwon-do instructor under the ITF. I love working with people and would definitely love to help bringing your vision/ideas to life.
I am proficient in using both PC and Mac platform, as well as being bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English (Certified TEFL Teacher).
